Overview
If you are looking at this page, you must be looking to learn a little about me. My name is Matt Yuvan,
but you probably already gathered that. I am currently 22 years old. I recently graduated from
California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Minor in Management and a cumulative GPA of 3.46. Before that, I attended Canon-McMillan High School, and graduated in 1998.
Why Web Design?
Ever since I got my first computer, I was hooked. When it became time to go to college, I knew that was what I
wanted to study. I picked Cal. because it was close enough for me to commute from home, and it was reasonably
priced. But, most importantly, I liked their Computer Science curriculum. During the next several years, I learned everything from programming to hardware. During my senior year,
I took a graphic design class, and I realized I had a knack for it. I had messed around with design programs before
on my own, or in classes in high school, but that class finally convinced me. I figured why not combine my graphic design skills with my computer
programming skills, and go into web development. That was something I had always been interested in anyhow, and I felt I
could get a lot of satisfaction out of it.
The next semester, I signed up for Client-Server programming. That class gave me the chance to brush up on my HTML,
learn JavaScript and VBscript, and also brush up on my database skills. I also learned ASP, which
allowed me to create database driven websites.

Since then, I've been learning more and more web design skills, and I've begun construction on several new websites,
one of which you are looking at now. If you'd like to know why I've created this site, you can read about it's purpose
here.
