A major difficulty facing a web developer lies in the vast array of features each browser supports. As technology improves, newer features are added to the latest browser releases. We begin to run into trouble when those features are not supported fully by all browsers. For example, a page that displays perfectly in Internet Explorer may end up looking different in Netscape than the author intended. To make matters worse, not everyone sets their monitor resolution to the same size, further complicating the issue. It is a difficult, and frustrating task to get a website to look the same on everyone's screen.
